MissionGrid Intelligence

See the pressure coming.

Where is labor demand rising before the shortage becomes obvious? MissionGrid connects projects, contractors, trades, geography and availability into one picture of the critical-infrastructure workforce.

The principle

One job posting is not intelligence.

Twenty connected signals are. A new data-center campus implies a general contractor, an electrical subcontractor, a mechanical subcontractor, a commissioning firm, a schedule — and a labor requirement that lands on a specific market at a specific time.

What we monitor

Permitted, publicly available information only.

  • Project and construction announcements
  • Economic-development and utility announcements
  • Contract awards and public procurement
  • Contractor hiring and public job postings
  • Project schedules and phase changes
  • Trade demand and wage pressure
  • Workforce availability in the MissionGrid network
  • Data centers, semiconductors, manufacturing and energy projects
MissionGrid Labor Pressure Index

A score for how hard the people will be to find.

For a trade in a market, the index weighs open demand and project signals against available supply. When there isn't enough data to say something honest, it says insufficient data — it never fills the gap with a guess.

Inputs

Job-posting growth · candidate availability · wage pressure · project pipeline and size · contractor hiring · geographic competition · specialty requirements · historical placement difficulty.

Confidence, always shown

Very high 90–100 · High 75–89 · Moderate 60–74 · Low 40–59 · Unconfirmed 0–39. Low-confidence intelligence is never presented as fact.

Every claim sourced

Each signal carries its source, the date we saw it, when it was last confirmed and its confidence. Project information older than 30 days is flagged for review.
