Trades we source
Data center electricians.
Data-center electrical work runs on tight energization dates, redundant power paths and long cable runs. Contractors need electricians who have worked inside that environment, not just near it.
Typical scope
What this role usually covers on mission-critical projects.
- Conduit, cable tray and busway installation through data halls and electrical rooms
- Feeder and branch-circuit pulls, terminations and labeling to the project standard
- Switchboard, PDU and RPP installation
- UPS and generator tie-ins alongside specialty technicians
- Support for testing, energization and commissioning phases
What we screen for
The questions we ask before anyone reaches your shortlist.
- Prior data-center or mission-critical project experience, and what phase they worked in
- Years in the trade and current classification (apprentice, journeyman, foreman)
- Comfort with the schedule: 5×10, 6×10 or rotating shifts
- Travel radius and whether per diem changes their availability
- Start date, confirmed by a person within the last seven days
Credentials
Commonly requested.
Requirements vary by project, owner and jurisdiction. Tell us yours in the request and we screen for exactly that. Anything a candidate reports stays labelled self-reported until we verify it against a document or an authoritative source.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
- NFPA 70E training
- A journeyman or state license where the jurisdiction requires one
- Aerial-lift qualification
